Stephanie Gutierrez-Vega, a proud Puerto Rican, returned to the island in January 2024 after spending nearly a decade in Lancaster, PA—and now, she is relocating back to Lancaster to strengthen her work with schools and organizations across the mainland U.S.

Since 2017, she has led transformative initiatives in schools, organizations, and communities through restorative practices and social-emotional development. In 2023, she co-created the NOW Team Choices Program with Ron L. James, a professional development initiative that equips educators, administrators, and students with restorative tools and emotional intelligence to build healthier, more connected learning environments.

As the author of The Power of Circles and Circles of Healing, Stephanie shares practical tools and personal reflections that demonstrate the healing potential of restorative circles. She combines her lived experience with professional expertise to offer a deeply strategic and empathetic approach to leadership, trust-building, and community repair.

In 2022, she founded Steph’s Vision, a company that designs restorative trainings, cultural assessments, and consulting strategies for schools, businesses, and community spaces. Her work focuses on strengthening collaboration, improving communication, and cultivating cultures grounded in respect, empathy, and trust.

Raised in public housing and shaped by resilience, Stephanie empowers others to transform their stories. She believes that trust is the foundation of all meaningful relationships—and of every true transformation.
